Position Responsibilities:
AGORA Consulting has been retained by an international EMS organization
to find their new VP Worldwide Sales - Memory Module. Our Client
is a leading electronics manufacturing services provider and is
responsible for the design and manufacturing of high-quality, competitively
priced memory and communications module solutions using DRAM, SRAM,
Flash, and Digital Signal Processing technology for use in computing,
communications (enterprise, wireless and optical), defense and aerospace,
industrial, medical, computing (high-end, commercial and personal)
and multimedia markets. This organization also supplies a complete
network of channel resellers, distributors, retailers and OEM customers
worldwide.
As VP of WW Sales, will be accountable for training, managing and
motivating direct sales personnel to achieve aggressive sales growth
and the highest quality customer support to our Clients Global
Memory Module division. Will be responsible for establishing strategic
marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and
services while achieving the agreed-upon sales forecast. Will develop
and execute comprehensive marketing plans and programs, both short
and long range, to support sales and revenue objectives of organization.
Will also research, analyze, and monitor financial, technological,
and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and
minimize effects of competitive activity and also plan and oversee
advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic
media, and direct mail.
Will determine and negotiate contract terms and conditions for
major services while overseeing development and production of promotional
and collateral materials. Will develop and recommend pricing strategy
to produce the highest possible margin and long-term market share
and ensures effective control of marketing results while taking
corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives
falls within designated budgets. Also, will oversee development
and maintenance of customer database and establish and maintains
relationships with industry influencers and strategic partners.
Will be accountable for guiding preparation of marketing activity
reports and presents to executive management. Will establish sales
goals and forecasts to ensure share of market and profitability
of products and/or services and develop sales plans and programs,
both short and long range, to ensure the profit growth and expansion
of company services.
- Bachelors Degree required; MBA preferred
- 8-12 yrs of experience in developing major client accounts and
supervising sales organizations in the Memory Module industry
at the VP level
- Well-versed in developing revenue strategies and penetrating
new and established customer accounts
- Established customer and contact base at the senior decision
making level
- Excellent communication skills, executive presence, poise, common
sense, and business acumen
- Ability to effectively present information to top management,
public groups, and/or boards of directors
