Position Responsibilities:
AGORA Consulting is a retained executive search firm specializing
in the high tech industry. We are currently working with a fast-growing
web and mobile company based in sunny Southeast who has asked us
to help recruit their new Chief Marketing Officer.
Position Responsibilities:
As CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER, will have the responsibility of leading
the Marketing initiatives toward achieving and exceeding the revenue
margins and growth targets for this company. This position requires
extensive and successful marketing/brand experience and a track
record of exceeding revenue targets and objectives in addition to
providing strategic leadership to the marketing team.
Specifically, the duties include:
- Artist recruitment
- Guerrilla marketing to independent bands.
- Hire/build out/train internal team of college interns.
- Hire/build out/train external geographic street teams.
- Overseeing advertising purchases (primarily internet, possibly
others).
- Manage newsletter marketing to artists and users.
- Manage corporate website working with in house designer.
- Overseeing public relations with outside PR firm.
- Developing/maintaining product collateral (including advertising/media
kit, parter/platform apis, etc).
- Writing copy for the website
- Creating/maintaining press kit.
- Arranging event promotions.

- Has both domestic and international knowledge/experience and
