Position Responsibilities:

Our client is a market-leading innovator and manufacturer of semiconductors.
Their customers range from consumer products manufacturers to defense-related
Federal agencies. The market opportunities for their chips and packaged
devices are positioned to explode over the next ten years.
This position will be responsible for the supervision and development
of the Package and Test Equipment Maintenance Team in a 24/7 operation
across (4) shifts. This functional role will require schedule flexibility
in order to provide sufficient visibility and support to all of
team members. This role requires a dedicated professional that is
interested in developing and implementing lean manufacturing and
continuous improvement initiatives in a high volume production manufacturing
environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibit and mandate safe working practices for the team
- Ensure technician Emergency Response Team (ERT) requirements
are current and comprehensive
- Set performance goals that demonstrate continuous improvement
- Develop the performance based planned maintenance system
- Continue to develop and update the Quality Document Management
System (DMS) with proper procedures and checklists
- Foster teamwork and support team-building activities
Qualification and Experience Requirements:
- AS or BS degree in a technical discipline or be able present
demonstrated equivalent technical or military experience
- Strong demonstrated sense of responsibility and ownership
- 2 years+ successful supervisory experience of a technical, service-oriented,
team
- Hands-on equipment maintenance and clean room experience
- Excellent multi-tasking capability
- Strong organizational and presentation skills
- Commitment to excellence and continuous improvement
- Experience in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing a plus
